  • Dinosaur
  • A Prehistoric reptile
  • Carnivores or herbivores
  • Lived on earth 65-250 million years ago

Herbivores
  • Herbivores were plant eaters.
  • Some were extremely large and some were very
    small.
  • All were considered food to the meat eaters (the
    carnivores).

Carnivores
  • Carnivores were meat eaters.
  • Some were extremely large and some were very
    small
  • All would eat the Herbivores, some would kill
    them and eat and some would wait and eat the
    remains.

Where the dinosaurs lived
  • The dinosaurs lived in all types of areas.
  • Open fields, edges of swamps, forest, lakes and
    even in the oceans.

When did the dinosaurs get here and when did they
leave?
  • The first dinosaurs appeared on earth about 250
    million years ago.
  • The dinosaurs completely disappeared from the
    earth about 65 million years ago.
  • There is no known reason why the dinosaurs all
    died out.
