2Introduction
- This training is designed to help you understand
- How to access ADP using the web
- How to navigate through each section of ADP
- Submit Development Plans to AFPC
- Review officers records
3Important Items
- It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to
review/coordinate/submit a Development Plan - You are limited to 1,000 characters in the
Rater/Reviewing Official Comments area - A Development Plan with the Command/Leadership
(LO) or Developmental Education (DE) Statement
of Intent can only be submitted to AFPC by a
Senior Rater - The DE tab will be available starting 2010 to
eligible officers during the DE cycle (normally
March-April timeframe) - 24-hour technical support is available (DSN
665-5000/Comm 210-565-5000/1-800-525-0102)
4To access ADP, log into AFPC website and click on
Secure Apps tab
To access ADP application, you must have a CAC
and PIN (Click on boxes to close them)
5Click ok
6Select your authentication and click ok
7Enter your PIN, then click ok
8Click ADP tab
9Click yes
10To Review/Submit/Return a Development Plan
3. Click Change Role
- Select Senior Rater/Endorser
1. Click the ADP tab

Note A Development Plan for
Command/Leadership or Developmental Education
can only be submitted to AFPC by a Senior Rater
12If you see a name in Development Plan Recall
List area, click on name
13- Click on Approve.
- Or click Not Approve if you do not want to
send the Development Plan back to member
3. Click Continue
2. Enter Comments
14Click Submit to send the Development Plan back
to member
15Prior to reviewing Development Plan, you can
review the Members Career Pyramid Diagram (CPD),
Career Brief (SURF), or eRecord (OPRs, Training
Records, Decorations)
Click on a name listed in the Development Plan
for Review List area
16Review the Development Plan and click Next to
navigate through the completed pages
171. When you get to the last completed page,
click this area to edit/insert the
Rater/Supervisor or Reviewing Official Comments
2. Click Next
18If you want the member to make edits, click Send
Back for Edits
If the Development Plan is complete, click
Submit to AFPC
19If you are certain the Development Plan is
complete, click Submit to AFPC again
20To Assign an Agent (e.g. your executive officer)
1. Click Assign Agent Role
212. Choose Member Type, then Click Select
3. Enter SSAN or first last name of member you
want to add, then click Search
224. When name comes up, click Assign Agent
Jurisdiction
235. Click on appropriate Senior Rater ID(s)
6. Click drop down choices for Account
Expiration Date.
7. Click Continue
248. Click Save
25Status will show Pending until approved. Once
agent role has been approved by AFPC, your agent
will be able to see all records under your
SRID(s) and Development Plans awaiting your
review. They will be able to edit
Rater/Reviewing Official comments in Plans, but
will not be able to forward Plans to AFPC.
26To review all records under your jurisdiction
3. Click Change Role
- Select Senior Rater/Endorser
1. Click Dashboard tab
27- This page displays
- Notifications (any update to your ADP acct)
- Agents (any members that have access to your ADP
acct) - Development Plan Review List (any Development
Plans waiting your review) - Development Plan Recall List (any member who
requested to recall their development plan) - SRID Choice (members that fall under your
jurisdiction) - Development Plan Status (whether members
development plan is in draft, archived, etc.)
1. Click one of the drop-down choices in SRID
Choice, then Select
2. The members info will be displayed
