2- In the morning, we start our visit up in the
mountains
3- Well visit some of the schist villages

4- After that, we can go swimming in the natural
swimming pool in Burgo.
5- And then we suggest having lunch at Burgo, a
typical restaurant.
6Where you can taste delicious typical food
7- After lunch, we visit Nossa Sra. da Piedade
(Sanctuary of Our Lady of Piety), one of Lousãs
ex-libris.
8- Then, we visit the castle.
It is a military building which dates back to the
Reconquest. It is related to a legend that tells
us the story of Peralta, a moorish princess.
9- Afterwards, we go down to the town center.

- (most of them date back from the 18th century)
12 13The Church and the Misericórdia chapel

14It is a house where we can play a game and
identify many mistakes/ dangerous things or
behaviours, so that we learn about security rules
at home.
15- Then we have to relax and rest for a while
16- We suggest having a picnic in Carlos Reis Park.
17- Then we visit Dr. Louzan Henriques Museum
18- We can have dinner at Meta dos Leitões, where
we have a view over the town.
19- Finally, we can stay for the night at Mélia
