Title: Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System MCMPS

1
Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System
(MCMPS)
  • Overview

2
PURPOSE
  • To provide an overview of the Marine Corps
    Mobilization Processing System (MCMPS).
  • Includes
  • Modules and how they interact with each other
  • How MCMPS relates to other systems/programs such
as order writing system and approved structure

3
Login page to the MCMPS
https//mcmps.manpower.usmc.mil
4
  • Authorized users are identified by commands to
    MPP-60.
  • Users will login using SSN and Password.

5
  • MCMPS consists of four Major Modules plus a
Message Board and User Administration Module

6
  • Message Board is used by HQMC and IDEAMATICS,
Inc. to provide updated info on MCMPS

7
  • Manpower Requirements Tracking Module (MRTM) is
    used for the following purposes
  • Commands Identify IA requirements
  • Commands identify IA requirements that are
    internally sourced.
  • HQMC approves IA requirements for sourcing and
    tasks MARFOR
  • MARFOR identifies individual to fill the
    requirement

8
  • Sourcing / Orders Module (SM) is used for the
following purposes during the activation and
    deactivation process
  • Sourcing Used by MPP-60 to conduct ASN screening
and ASN approval for Reserves and Retirees
  • Orders Used by Orders Cell to identify
    individuals requiring activation, extension, or
    early deactivation orders

9
  • Processing Module is used for the following
purposes during the activation and deactivation
    process
  • Provides a single automated command and control
(C2) system to track and process activated
    Marines
  • Administrative screening
  • Personnel tracking
  • Report generation
  • Used by SMCR units for assistance in readiness
    and activation screening

10
  • Individual Augmentation Management Module is used
    for the following purposes
  • Provides USMC ability to track individuals in IA
    billets
  • Commands request early deactivation or extension
    of IAs
  • Commands can transfer Marines to other validated
    IA requirements

11
  • User Administration
  • Used to identify authorized users and assign
roles to each user for various modules within
    MCMPS
  • Used to update tables in MCMPS as directed by HQMC

12
Order Writing Program
MRTM
Sourcing / Order Module
IAMM
Processing
13
MRTM Data
  • Billet information fed to IAMM
  • Sourcing information fed to Sourcing / Orders
module for ASN approval process and Orders
    Request Generation

14
SM Data
  • Two sub-modules
  • Sourcing Nominee Approval Process (SNAP)
  • Orders Requests Module

15
SNAP
  • Sourcing nominee approval process
  • MPP-60 screens Res Ret for approval
  • Obtains approval from ASN
  • Once approved in SNAP, orders request for Mob /
    Retiree orders is generated

16
Orders Requests
  • Mob orders request generated with SNAP approval
  • Extension orders request generated upon MPP-60
approval of extension in the IAMM
  • Early deactivation orders request generated upon
MPP-60 approval of early demob in the IAMM
  • Tracks status of orders request till orders
    generated in ROWS
  • Generation of ROWS orders is currently manual
process outside MCMPS (no direct data transfer
    between MCMPS and ROWS)
  • For Mob orders, reflects which DPC will process
reserves as well as EDA for DPC and updated for
    GC EDA

17
Processing
  • For activation, billet and sourcing info fed from
    MRTM
  • DPC MCC and EDA, as well as GC EDA info fed from
    Orders Request Module
  • Once activation processing is complete, IAMM info
    is updated
  • For deactivation, info is fed from the IAMM

18
IAMM
  • Links back to MRTM via unique Requirement
    Tracking Number (RTN)
  • Provides sourcing history of each requirement in
    MRTM
  • If individual is transferred in the IAMM, then
sourcing info is updated in the MRTM.
  • If individual is deactivating through a DPC, then
info is fed to Processing Module
  • ALL billet info in IAMM is fed from the MRTM.
  • Can ONLY fill validated and approved IA
    requirements from the MRTM

19
IAMM
  • Extension requests
  • Submitted through chain of command
  • Once approved by MPP-60, extension orders request
    generated in orders request module
  • Can transfer and extend in same RTN, or can be
transferred and extended in different RTN
  • Early Demob Requests
  • Submitted through chain of command
  • Once approved by MPP-60, early demobilization
    orders request is generated.
  • Sourcing is adjusted in MRTM upon MPP-60 approval
