1. Objective of the business scenario

• AS performs, in real-time, a debit on a PM
  account in return of a credit on an other PM
  participant account
• Also used to settle multilateral balances of an
  AS that has a PM Technical Account
• AS first sends individual direct debit
  transactions to the SSP (credited on the AS
  Technical Account),
• waits for positive notification for the
  settlement of all debits
• then sends individual credit transfer
  transactions (to be debited on the AS Technical
  Account).

2. Optional connected mechanisms

• Scheduled time from
• The liquidity transfer is deliver to the entry
  disposition only when the from is reached
• The settlement bank can change the from option
  via ICM
• Settlement period till
• If the settlement is not completed successfully
  during this period of time, it is rejected.
• AS can modify (anticipate or postpone) the end of
  the settlement period before it has expired
