- On the command of His Holiness of Kanchi
Kamakoti Peetam, Dr S S Badrinath along with a
group of philanthropists founded Sankara
Nethralaya on 6th September 1978 in Chennai

Van equipped with ophthalmic glasses dispensing
equipment. Glasses made and given free or at
cost to the rural patient within half an hour of
examination.

India Nargesh Nani Palkhivala bequeathed a
