• It is a problem in the body that cant be
  prevented
• It is controlled with daily insulin injections

• It used to be called adult-onset diabetes
• It is showing up in younger and younger ages
• Studies are showing obesity, genetics, poor diet,
  and lack of exercise as causes
• It can be controlled by life-changing behaviors
