Neighbourhood Teams.
  • 103 neighbourhoods across the county.
  • A Division divided into 26 neighbourhoods.
  • B Division divided into 23 neighbourhoods.
  • C Division divided into 29 neighbourhoods.
  • D Division divided into 25 neighbourhoods.
  • All have an allocated team.
  • Team vary according to the requirements of the
    neighbourhood.
  • Some teams cover more than 1 neighbourhood.
  • Some areas have team members from other agencies
    full time.
  • Those without partnership staff full time have
    clear links for effective joint working.

Police Community Support Officers.
  • The primary role of a PCSO is to provide a highly
    visible reassuring presence within the
    Neighbourhoods of Derbyshire, working as part of
    a Safer Neighbourhood team to support the problem
    solving initiatives developed by the team.
  • Engagement with the community.
  • Problem solving and reassurance.
  • Support of Incidents.
  • 22 Powers held commensurate with the primary role
    of tackling the locally identified priorities.
    These are almost exclusively anti-social
    behaviour orientated.
  • All deployment of PCSOs should be in line with
    their primary role.
