After two weeks with very low temperatures
(between -7C and -16C) it was getting warmer
but also more humid. This Monday was dark, cloudy
and damp, but it did not rain.

Tuesday, 20 January
Tuesday was a rather cloudy day, it was raining
slightly. It was damp and overcast all day
long. On a day like this most pupils wear a cap
or carry an umbrella on their way to school.

Wednesday, 21 January
On Wednesday it started to snow heavily in the
morning. The snowflakes were rather big and
wet. Although it was cool and damp, it was not
cold enough for the snow to stay.

Thursday, 22 January
Thursday was again a cold, and rather damp
day. A little snow had remained from the day
before. It was murky and foggy all the day (a day
on which you like to stay at home -)

Friday, 23 January
Friday was another cold and humid day. It was
foggy twenty four hours. During the following
week it got colder again, temperatures fell to
-6C but it was also getting drier and therefore
more comfortable.
