Problem Statement

• Older adults visit the clinic and have to wait
  before they are seen by a doctor
• The time spent in waiting can be used
  constructively

• Fast food on a regular basis at an early stage of
  life is a sure shot gateway to unhealthy eating
  practice.
• People are ignorant about the nutritional value
  and the calorie content in the food items that
  they consume.
• Hence we came up with The Health Buffet

• Patients and their family that come to the clinic
• Design focuses on user population above 50 years
  of age
• General requirement Knowledge of English
• Technical requirement Basic navigational skills
  and ability to use the touch-screen

• A patient wishes to find the nutritional
  information for the food items that he/she has
  consumed Rate the plate
• A patient decides to find out some quick facts
  about food items and entertain himself - Trivia

• Drop down menu label was misleading earlier
• Screens have been distinguished using different
  colors
• Tabs and buttons have unique names which was
  misleading earlier
• Contextual help and exit button provided on each
  screen

• Layouts fixed Controls do not jump
• Uniformity between Rate the plate and Trivia
• Cosmetic improvement
• Navigational jargon and controls improved
• Controls disabled as per requirement
• Clear exits and conformance with tabbed pane
