• topics from 100-200 level chemistry courses

Mini Talks, Requirements

• meeting with instructor no later than Tuesday
• before presentation to discuss substantially
• completed PowerPoint presentation
• copy of presentation (3 slides to a page) given
  to instructor day of presentation

Research Question Presentation

• 28 minute team presentation
• 2 members in each team
• questions taken from research literature and
  posed by chemistry faculty

Research Question Presentation, Requirements

• Meetings with faculty
• At least once (at least 2 weeks before
  presentation) with consulting faculty member
• Not more than twice - second meeting no later
  than Tuesday of presentation week with consulting
  faculty or instructor
• Both team members must attend meetings
• Before your first meeting
• Look up references and read thoroughly
• Go through points to consider
• Prepare a list of questions for your meeting

• Abstract
• Provided by e-mail to instructor no later than
  noon on Monday preceding your seminar
• Handouts for all students and faculty (25 copies)
• Copies of slides for faculty
• 6 slides per page
• 2 copies
• e-mail PowerPoint presentation to instructor by
  noon on day of presentation
