• The Regeneration scheme is central to the
  strategy for the development of the Gateway
• The Planning element will encompass a large
  section of the Citys eastern quadrant
• Create linkages within the city designed to
  unlock latent development potential

Project Genesis

• Broad consensus that something needed to be done
  to address on going decline of the area.
• The local community, council officials, elected
  representatives and public agencies came together
  to prepare a plan.
• Interagency Steering Group established in 2004
  two working groups- Social Physical
• Community Platform established to represent the
  voice of people of Cranmore
