  • Revision is another word for reviewing. This
    means
  • consolidating your understanding of the subjects
  • practising the skills you have learned
  • refreshing your memory of the topics you have
    covered
  • memorising the facts that you need.

  • To motivate yourself to revise, you must believe
    that
  • exams do matter,
  • the results do matter,
  • revision does matter!

What is available to help me revise?
  • 1) Your textbook and notes.
  • Go through your notes and your textbook and
    attempt examples you have done before or make
    notes.
  • You will know from your mock exam which topics
    need more revision.

  • 2) Revision guides, workbooks and papers.
  • You may have had the opportunity to buy revision
    guides in lessons and they are very accessible.
    If you have not yet ordered your copies, you can
    do so this evening.
