Aim of the Emulsions Producers Day

• The objectives of IBEF consist of promoting the
  use of bitumen Emulsion and exchanging
  information related to promotional means,
  standardisation, safety and the developments of
  bitumen emulsion applications.
• In essence IBEF is an international vehicle for
  information and technology exchange related to
  bitumen emulsion.
• IBEF supports conventions dedicated to bitumen
  emulsions and organises every second year,
  alternatively a world symposium of bitumen
  emulsion manufacturers and an international
  symposium on asphalt emulsion technology.

The Palais des Congrès convention Center
Between the River Rhône and the Tête dOr Park
stands the original and elegant outline of the
Lyon Palais des Congrès convention center. Light,
transparent and functional, it is a
new-generation venue for conferences, conventions
and exhibitions. It has been designed to provide
all the services users may require.   The
innovative ideas behind the Palais des Congrès
can be seen in its ergonomic design, attractive
appearance, modular use of space and its
sophisticated technological facilities.   Current
ly offering 15,000 m2 of space, the center is
suitable for all types of events, and with an
additional 4,500 m2 of new exhibition areas,
committee rooms and a 3,000-seat amphitheater, it
will be able to accommodate more than 10,000
people for conferences, providing maximum comfort
and optimum visitor flow.
