SMCR Unit Group Processing in MCMPS
  • Overview

PURPOSE
  • To provide detail presentation on the steps SMCR
    units are to take during activation processing.
  • Due to limited time and training to date, ONLY
    Group Processing will be used at this time.
  • Anticipate that in the future, detailed
    individual processing/readiness will be required
    to be used by SMCR units.

Login page to the MCMPS Website https//mcmps.man

  • Authorized users are identified by commands to
    MPP-60.
  • Users will login using SSN and Password.

  • MCMPS consists of four Major Modules plus a
    Message Board and User Administration Module
  • Will only demonstrate Group Processing function
    within the Processing Module (PM)

  • Note Training presentation is using MOB MCC of
    S92. The program identifies user associate with
    the MOB MCC and will only display personnel
    information of those Marines assigned to MOB MCC
    that the user is identified with.

  • Note Reflects that 91 Marines are scheduled to
    report to RTC within the next 7 days.
  • If you click on the underlined number, the
    program enters the Member Processing Mode and
    following screen depicts such.

  • Click on Group Processing

  • Select Edit Record(s) to begin processing all
    91 individuals in MOB MCC S92.
  • NOTE You will later see how you can go into an
    individual record to make changes to single
    individuals.

  • Start by entering appropriate information on each
    tab, beginning with Check-In.
  • Click on the lookup tab in the status column.

    individuals in the MOB MCC have reported.
  • NOTE Again will show you later how to change
    individual records for those that failed to
    report.

    column
  • Select the date the individuals reported.

    as reporting in 24hr format without any colons.

  • Click on the lookup tab beside the Orders Status
    Code.
  • Select SM for SMCR Mobilization Orders Issued.

  • Click on the lookup tab beside Type of Orders
    Issued.
  • Select M for Partial-Mob.
  • Note Again, will demonstrate later how to
    change to other order type on individual basis if
    an individual is on some other type of orders.

  • We will skip the Delay Exemption as this is
    normally done on an individual basis in Member
    Processing.

  • Click on the Identification tab and select the
    appropriate information. Anticipate majority
    will either be Issued or Has.

    tab during Group Processing. Information here is
    only available during individual Member
    Processing.
  • NOTE As previously discussed, ONLY Group
    Processing will initially be done due to training
    and time constraints. You may be required to
    make a few changes on an individual member basis.

  • Required shots/exams are displayed.
  • Select those that have been administered to the
    group.
  • NOTE Actual list of required shots,
    examinations, and tests may change.

  • Note As was the case with the Qualifications
    tab, no information is entered in the Dental
    tab during Group Processing. Information here is
    only available during individual Member
    Processing.

  • Click on Legal tab.
  • Identify once Legal Brief has been provided and
    the individuals have been screened.
  • In Group Processing there is no need to
    identify Requested Assistance at this time.

    presentation, click Save

    screen.

That concludes the instruction on how to conduct
required group processing of SMCR units for this
iteration of activations. A second lesson will
detail the steps to take in order to update
individual members that have different
information from the majority of the group.
