• What does TS in CONTOUR TS stand for? TS
  stands for "Total Simplicity.
• Does the CONTOUR TS use the same strips as the
  CONTOUR meter?No, they use different strips.
  While both the CONTOUR TS test strips and
  CONTOUR test strips have Bayers No Coding
  technology, one will not work with the other. The
  CONTOUR TS meter will only work with the CONTOUR
  TS test strips.
• Why should I offer the CONTOUR TS meter over
  another meter? With its simple design,
  easy-to-read display, large buttons, and orange
  test strip port, along with Bayers No Coding
  technology, the CONTOUR TS meter gives total
  simplicity at a competitive price.
• Where is the CONTOUR TS meter going to be
  available? The CONTOUR TS meter will be
  available to patients nationwide primarily
  through authorized Mail Order distributors.
• When will the CONTOUR TS system be
  available?In September 2007. The CONTOUR TS
  meter has been added to all Bayers distributor
  contracts.

• Do I need to convert CONTOUR patients to CONTOUR
  TS?No. The CONTOUR TS meter is a new system for
  your patients. It is also a great option for
  patients currently using other meters that
  require coding. Bayer will now be supporting the
  new CONTOUR TS system, the CONTOUR system, and
  the BREEZE 2 system.
• Will CONTOUR TS no-charge meters be available
  from Bayer?Yes. CONTOUR TS deluxe meter kits
  (Product Code 1802N) are available at no charge
  for new patients and patients formerly on other
  systems. There are also For-Sale Simple Pack Kits
  (Product Code 1801) available. Ask your Bayer
  sales representative for further details.
• lf a patient calls, how will I know they are
  using the CONTOUR or CONTOUR TS meter? The
  CONTOUR TS test strip vial has an orange label
  and the CONTOUR TS meter is dark blue with an
  orange test strip port for greater visibility.

• Will the CONTOUR TS be compatible with
  WinGlucofacts? Yes. However, the patient needs
  to select CONTOUR.
• Will CONTOUR TS be advertised promoted in any
  diabetes journals?The CONTOUR TS meter will be
  advertised in consumer diabetes publications that
  reach Medicare and Mail Order customers, such as
  AARP. Promotion of base CONTOUR in diabetes
  journals geared to the HCP, as well as TV
  advertising, will drive "CONTOUR" brand awareness
  and have a halo effect on CONTOUR TS meter sales
  in Mail Order.
