History of ECCS Initiative
  • In September 2003, the Missouri Department of
    Health and Senior Services, Division of Community
    and Public Health was awarded a federal Early
    Childhood Comprehensive System (ECCS) grant from
    the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
    Maternal and Child Health Bureau
  • The purpose of the (ECCS) initiative is to
    develop a comprehensive, integrated, and
    statewide early childhood service system
  • Missouris Early Childhood Comprehensive System
    is structured along a natural continuum from
    child and family through community and state
