Standard Parameters of aX Profibus Slave
These variables are aX Profibus standard
parameters and required for aX Profibus
communication.

• Connection aX Profibus Master card
• Address of aX Profibus Slave
• The watchdog function permits the slave to
  monitor the bus communication time to be sure
  that the Profibus master is still active.
• Wd_fact_1 wd_fact2 10ms is the delay for the
  watchdog
• GSD name for this aX Profibus DP Slave
• DP Slave group identifier

aX Profibus Parameters
These parameters enable you to control the aX
Profibus communication.
The outputs on the Slave system are
frozen. Deactivate the freeze mode.  Hold
out-/inputs. Stop the sync mode. Clears the
out-/inputs. Reset the state machine for slave
handling Request for new parameterization

aX specific Profibus Slave Status Variables
These aX Profibus Slave parameters give you
information about the actual state of the aX
Profibus Slave.
Init counter Counter for valid data
transfers YES in case of hardware error YES in
case of software error YES in case of module
error Status value of the state machine Status

Connection of aX Profibus Slave to Its Modules
These aX Profibus Slave parameters are required
to connect the Slave with its modules.
The instance name of this module will be
connected to the following one. Internal class

The diagnostic parameters will be filled out
automatically in case of a diagnostic message.

name of the aX Profibus module ? it must be the
same as in the GSD file of the aX Profibus
Slave. The length of the input data

In the module you can also use the variables for
diagnostic, user parameter and error messages.
