Meet our eco team!
We have 14 members in the team ranging from
Reception to Year 6!

Our eco team have been making changes
around Barrs Court to help save the environment!

The eco team meet every week to discuss what we
think we can do to help our environment at Barrs
Court.
Tom Curry is the Chair person and makes notes on
what we talk about.
We work as a team to think of ideas. Lakeya Smith
and Jake Matthews are our Reception helpers.

The eco team have completed audits of our
school. These showed us how good or bad we were
at helping the environment!

So farthis is what we have been up to!We
have introduced green bags into each homebase to
encourage more recycling!

We have made some small notes to remind people to
recycle. These are on each homebase bin!

We have made our own special Eco code which is
displayed around school to remind people to help
us save the world we live in!

Our big day out!
ASDA invited us to their store in Longwell Green
to support their going green campaign! Here we
are posing for photographs!

ASDA appeal !!!At the moment we are taking
part in an ASDA scheme. We are collecting green
tokens every time we go to the supermarket. We
need your help! To do this, all you need to do is
take your own bags to pack your shopping or use a
bag for life every time you visit ASDA.
Help save the planet! Reduce the amount of
plastic bags we use!
