    install it on your web server.
  • Requirementsgt an access to a web server for
    pages and CGI scripts.

Create your chart
  • Launch Aladin and load data, for instance Simbad
    around M104

Customize your chart
  • Apply a filter and activate the grid..

Save your chart
  • Save your chart with the name M104chart via the
    menu Save, format PNGLINK
  • QuitAladin

Install the chart
  • Copy (via ftp) the two produced files on your Web
    server

Install the CGI chart script
  • Download and install this short Perl CGI script
    on your Web server http//aladin.u-strasbg.fr/java
    /nph-plot
  • Adjust Perl path and DIR variable according to
    your configuration

Lets play with your chart
  • http//your.web.site/.../nph-plot?nameM104chart

Remarks
  • You can merge several data origins
    (NEDSimbadVizieryour own)
  • You can insert a background image
  • Only data with url provided can be clickable
    (blue underlined measurements in Aladin)
  • The same CGI can manage as many charts as you
    want.
  • These charts can be produced on the fly if you
    install Aladin itself behind the Web server (see
    Aladin FAQ)
