Science Lab Make Your own Slide

• Materials
• Cover Slip
• Microscope
• Slides
• Toothpick
• Cups
• Dropper
• Knife
• Lens Tissue
• Tweezers
• Onion
• Paper Towels
• Stain, Methylene Blue
• Tap Water

• Steps
• We peeled the skin from the onion and placed it
  onto the slide.
• We then took our dropper and dipped it into the
  tap water and put one drop over the onion.
• Next, we dipped a toothpick into the Methylene
  blue and put a little bit in the water on the
  onion so we could see the onion skin more
  clearly.
• Then, we held the slide cover directly over the
  slide and dropped it down.
• After that we put our slide under the microscope
  and looked at it.
• Last, but not least, we recorded our data of what
  we saw under the microscope.
