How we made it?
  • CO2 canisters
  • Wooden boards
  • Cut it in to halves
  • Join it with hinges and screws
  • Had trouble make the two boards straight
  • A block of wood
  • Size
  • We made two wholes to put the wooden sticks and
    another whole for the copper pipe

First a flat wooden board was cut into half. The
two boards were joined together with screws and
hinges, so that it can swing. An angle indicator
was attached to the lower board. Using the
indicator and a pendulum bob we can find out the
angle between the two woods. Three holes were
made in the wooden block two small and a larger
one in the middle to attach the cooper rail and
the wooden sticks. The plane has to be placed on
the copper pipe (firing rail) and the two wood
sticks (guide rails) support the plane. Two holes
were drilled on the top of the wooden block to
install the firing pin. The wooden block was
attached to the upper board using glue and
screws. The hammer and the spring of a mousetrap
was taken out and placed at the end of the board
(where the angle indicator was placed). A trigger
was set so that the mousetrap can be fired from a
far range.
