Romans 121-2

• Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of
  God, to present your bodies a living and holy
  sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your
  spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be
  conformed to this world, but be transformed by
  the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove
  what the will of God is, that which is good and
  acceptable and perfect.

Romans 1214-21

• 14 Bless those who persecute you bless and do
  not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and
  weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind
  toward one another do not be haughty in mind,
  but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in
  your own estimation. 17 Never pay back evil for
  evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the
  sight of all men. 18 If possible, so far as it
  depends on you, be at peace with all men. 19
  Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave
  room for the wrath of God, for it is written,
  "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord.
  20 "BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF
  HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK FOR IN SO DOING
  YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD." 21 Do
  not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with
  good.

• 2 Sam 2213-15 "From the brightness before Him
  Coals of fire were kindled. 14 " The LORD
  thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered
  His voice. 15 " And He sent out arrows, and
  scattered them,
• Lightning, and routed them.
• Ps 1409-10 "As for the head of those who
  surround me, May the mischief of their lips cover
  them. 10 "May burning coals fall upon them May
  they be cast into the fire, Into deep pits from
  which they cannot rise.
• Ps 1203-4 What shall be given to you, and what
  more shall be done to you, You deceitful tongue?
  4 Sharp arrows of the warrior, With the burning
  coals of the broom tree.

Coals Of Fire

• Purify Isa 66-7 Then one of the seraphim flew
  to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he
  had taken from the altar with tongs. 7 He touched
  my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has
  touched your lips and your iniquity is taken
  away and your sin is forgiven."
• Ignite Lev 1612-13 "He shall take a firepan
  full of coals of fire from upon the altar before
  the LORD and two handfuls of finely ground sweet
  incense, and bring it inside the veil. 13 "He
  shall put the incense on the fire before the
  LORD, that the cloud of incense may cover the
  mercy seat that is on the ark of the testimony,
  otherwise he will die.

God Rewards Us!

• Prov 2521-22 If your enemy is hungry, give him
  food to eat And if he is thirsty, give him water
  to drink For you will heap burning coals on his
  head, And the LORD will reward you.
• Romans 1221 Do not be overcome by evil, but
  overcome evil with good.
