create an enclosure.

7Transfer the layout plan to the ceiling bymaking

9Begin installing by overlapping the Panels,
Moldings,Fillers and Cornices making sure these
items lap awayfrom the prevailing light and
main entrance.

10Nail approximately every 6 aroundthe outside
edges of the tin panel.

11Fill the area between the Panelsand the walls
with Filler pieces.

12Install the Moldings in the spacebetween the
Panels and the Fillers.

13Miter the corners of the Moldingsto make a nice
fit.

14When adding the Cornices, start bynailing a
piece of wood up to the wallfor the base of the
Cornice to rest on.

15Create wood braces in the same shape. Nail the
bracesto the wall so that the middle and both
ends of theCornice can be nailed to them for
extra support.

16Miter all outside corners.First add the wooden
bases.

17Miter each end of the Cornices by cutting
eachpiece on an angle. Check the fit before
installing.

18Cope all inside corners.First add the wooden

19Fit one of the Cornices so it is flat to the wall.

21Tap any loose seams togetherwith a small piece
of wood.

22Caulk the Panel, Molding, Filler and
Corniceseams to create a smooth and tight fit.

23For painted Panels use painters caulking.

24For plated and bright Panels use a clear
caulkingat your discretion. In some situations
it is not needed.

26If ceiling is left in tin finish, coat with
aclear lacquer or polyurethane (it is
alwaysbest to do a test spot before starting).

will adhere to metal. Finish with oil orlatex
paint (oil is preferred).
