Overview

• The transition to college should be seamless.
• Libraries should be an integral part of the
  transition to college.
• PSEO and Seniors to Sophomores pave the way for
  collaboration between high schools and higher
  education.
• The campus experience goes well beyond
  attending classes on campus.

Prepare them for the Academic Library Experience

• Encourage students to visit academic libraries or
  bring academic librarians to high school.
• Make students aware of Transitioning to College
  programs on the web.
• Introduce students to the Library of Congress
  Classification System.
• Collaborate with your local academic library for
  student access to and other
  resources.

Collaborate outside the Library

• Become actively involved in the Ohio Career
  Planning System from Kuder.
• Assist with student portfolios
• Help students keep accounts updated
• Provide information on occupations, financial
  aid, and other items of interest to students
