4Activity You have some samples of comments that
might be used in comment only marking. In your
group, look at each comment and discuss what is
good or bad about each comment.
5Feedback in different ways
Make sure that children have time to act upon
feedback.
The wrong type of feedback can have a negative
effect.
6Activity Your group will be given three
pieces of work. Begin by choosing your own method
of feedback for each piece of work and apply
it. When you have finished, discuss your marking
of each piece of work with the other members of
your group. Consider whether you would change
your feedback in the light of your discussions.
