PGD as the MDA
  • MTA Guide requires Safety Officer to review every
    program at every milestone.
  • This is not conducive to a minimum staffing
    philosophy.
  • In keeping with the intent of the MTA Guide, the
minimum acceptable resolution is to have an
independent review by a safety professional prior
    to every milestone.

14
How Do We Get There?
  • Leverage existing PDG assets to stand up
Professional Development Team to define and train
to what a safety professional should be.
  • In the interim, ask the PGDs to work with 00T to
develop individualized strategies to satisfy this
    requirement.

Remember The goal is to develop (2) per PGD.
15
Summary
  • Seeking agreement for 00T philosophy.
  • Seeking PGD assistance to resource teams.
  • Agreement to assume the burden of independent
safety reviews to meet the intent of MTA Guide
when the PGD is the MDA.
