Title: Gr. 2 News Claire Cox
1Dear Parents, The weeks seem to be flying by
since 2008 began! and I look forward to a lovely
uninterrupted six weeks of teaching and learning
before Spring break in March. Thank you all for
your help, and for the contributions of food for
our Chinese New Year grade 2 celebration. What a
wonderful shared lunch we all enjoyed! We are
all feeling so saddened that the C.N.Y. holiday
became such a sad time for the Wittry family and
I know everyone will want to give what support
we can this semester. I hope to see many of you
at some of the events listed below. Regards,
Claire Cox. coxc_at_tas.edu.tw Feb/Mar dates to

helpers will be needed!! details will follow
nearer the time. -
Writers and Readers Workshop We are writing
and reading a mixture of non-fiction and fiction
and particularly looking at the features of
non-fiction. It is wonderful to see writing being
the favorite time of the day for the children,
and also to see the children reading avidly and
usually independently choosing a variety of just
right reading material now.
