• Lack of interest from student body
• Administrative concern with campus aesthetics
• Resistance from facilities staff

STEPS WE TOOK

• Involving the Environmental Studies faculty and
  staff
• Discussion with student organizations
• Meeting with College President, Dr. Duncan
• Research of possible methods of improvement
• Drafting of the Grant Proposal

Anticipated Changes

• Conversion to low flush toilets
• Improving the building insulation
• Switching to low wattage light bulbs
• Installation of solar panel(s)
• Purchase of wind energy credits
