SOW Objective
  • To provide guidelines in determination of a
    system that will geo-target alert messages to
    wireless devices on campus. The system will
    replace or improve the current GMU alert system
    by providing additional functionality.

  • Contractor shall anoint a program manager who

    questions and requests
  • Develops the following requirements
  • Program control requirements
  • Staff requirements
  • Cost requirements
  • Schedule requirements
  • Risk requirements
  • Other as-needed requirements

System Management
  • The System Management shall
  • Develop the system requirements for EGAS
  • Deliver a robust, secure, testable, maintainable,
    legal, and technically achievable
    telecommunication alert system
  • Work across functions to provide communication
    and system guidance.

Design, Implementation, and Testing
  • Design
  • Shall satisfy the specifications as defined by
    the system requirements
  • Implementation
  • The system shall be implemented upon design
    completion
  • EGAS shall interface with the existing Mason
    Alert System
  • Testing
  • Unit Testing
  • Component Testing
  • System Testing

Maintenance and Training
  • Maintenance Plan shall ensure system
    functionality and readiness.
  • System training shall provide site training to
    GMU system personal.

Security and Compliance
  • Security shall be of highest priority throughout
    the design to ensure the integrity of the system.
  • Security shall not be compensated for when making
    trade-off decisions without the sought after
    permission from GMU
  • All communications shall abide by FCC standards

Documentation
  • The contractor shall provide thorough system
    documentation

Period of Performance
  • The work shall be conducted in the period of 12
    months after the award date. All tasks shall be
    performed and completed by the dates described
    under the required deliverables.
