In The Beginning

• Laura and Almanzo have just been
• married!!! Laura's family is very sad she
• must leave.Laura finds changing
• routines is hard for her and starts to fall
• ill. One day Laura was helping Almanzo
• with the farm work when she felt very
• Sick and Almanzo went to get the doctor.
• Laura finds out she is to have a baby!!! It shall

• born in nine months.

In The Middle

• Laura and Almanzo are getting along
• well. One day Laura goes to the Boasts
• Home and they ask Laura if they may have
• Rose
• and Laura refuses.
• Laura has just found out about some
• unpaid debt.500.00 on the house,300.00
• for tools and 800.00 on the homestead.
• Then Laura and Almanzo fall ill first
• Laura then Almanzo.Laura's Ma finds out
• and calls the doctor.

In The End

• One day some Indians came to Laura
• and Almanzos home and try to get in.
• Apparently they want her to come outside
• so Laura goes outside and the closest puts
• his hand on her arm, quick as a wink
• Laura takes her arm from his grip and
• slaps him in the face. It is the end of four
• years.
