SRM Basic

• Basically agree with Peter proposal
• Feel basic namespace operation are vital
• mkdir, rmdir, rm
• No automatic directory creation
• Problematic with ACLs
• SetPermission on directories default
  permissions
• Space Reservation
• Should be in Advanced
• We would like to use it in LCG
• Specification needs work/clarification
• Could be a topic for this meeting?

SRM Advanced

• Would like single WSDL (as in 2.1.1) with
  sections being option.
• use Olof's suggestion of configuration parameters
  signifying implemented options
• Important to keep versions backward compatible
• SRM v1 clients cannot work with SRM v2 server
• Should not repeat for SRM v3 if possible
• What is relationship between SRM v1, v2 and Basic
  and Advanced
• SRM v1 and v2 are specifications
• Basic and Advanced are descriptions of feature
  configurations
• They relate to the configuration parameters
