Taking Care of Hearing
  • Never look directly at the sun
  • Avoid touching eyes unless you just washed your
    hands
  • Keep sharp objects away from eyes
  • A mask should be worn during sports that require
    it

Prevent Ear Damage
  • Cover your ears when you are to close to
    something that is very noisy
  • Pay attention to the decibel chart

Headphones
  • If others can hear your music from your
    headphones it is too loud

    also cause the ear drum to break
  • This can cause hearing loss

  • Light Rays enter through the cornea, pupil and
    lens
  • Light Rays are different from UV Rays are from
    the sun and light arent

  • Astigmatism is when the lens or the cornea has
    the wrong shape
  • Nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
    can be corrected with the right lenses or contacts

Straining
  • You can strain your eyes if you dont have enough
    light, but it wont hurt your vision.

Image on the Retina
  • The lens focuses the light to make an image on
    the retina at the back of the eye
  • When the retina receives an image it makes
    electrical signs that go through the nerve cells
    in the optic nerves to the brains
