What is the NCGC On Campus?
  • One of the most popular ways to draw attention
    to your golf programming, this golf expo should
    take place in a high traveled location area on
    campus. By allowing students to try a few golf
    contests for free, youll attract potential
    participants for your golf programs. This is a
    great way to promote your NCGC event to
    established golfers and new golfers. Youll also
    be offering additional on campus golf programming.

Event Timing and Staffing
  • Timing
  • 2-3 weeks before NCGC Event
  • suggested 10am-3pm, Tues. Thurs. or piggyback a
    large campus event
  • Staffing
  • This expo can be run on minimal staffing, both
    in numbers and experience. If you have the
    resources you can increase the amount of
    activities and staffing.

  • Golf Committee members from other tournaments
  • Golf Instructor
  • Mens and Womens team members

Events
  • The 4 activities below are sponsored events and
    should be run on campus. If you have other
    contests feel free to add them to your event.
  • Instructions for each activity has been provided
    by CGA in a separate document.
  • Putting Three 8-10 foot putts- sink 2 of 3 to
    win a prize (CGA bucket of balls). Sink 3 of 3
    to qualify for 25,000 NCGC Vegas Putt. On
    Campus winners advance to the NCGC LQ for the
    Vegas putt off.
  • Chipping Hit chips into a large bucket for
    prizes
  • SWA How Far Did Ya Drive? Guess your driving
    distance contest
  • AlmostGolf Limbo How high can you flop it?

Equipment Supplies
  • Equipment provided by CGA and sponsors will be
    mailed to you 1 month before your scheduled NCGC
    Event unless your request a different date. All
    equipment is yours to keep after the event unless
    specifically noted
  • Provided by CGA Sponsors
  • 2 doz AlmostGolf balls
  • Certificates for 2 for 1, bucket of balls
  • Sponsors banners (tbd)
  • You should provide
  • Putter and regulation golf balls
  • Portable putting green (similar to photo)
  • Hoola Hoop
  • Sign in sheet name, phone, email, additional
    questions
  • Digital photos to send to CGA University logo in
    photo, hats on students are great along with
    participants at different stations with sponsors
    banners in background
  • You may also want to provide
  • Cones, Flags, Tent, Table

  • 25,000 Vegas Putt off
  • On Campus
  • Participants qualify by making 3 of 3 eight foot
    putts
  • Overall winner advances to the Local Qualifying
    event
  • Small prize for winner provided by an NCGC
    Sponsor
  • NCGC LQ
  • All participants campus qualifiers get free
    entry to Vegas Putt
  • Players making 3 out of 3 from 8 feet putt off to
    one qualifier
  • One NCGC LQ qualifier gets to putt for RT SWA to
    Vegas (60)
  • Prize for winner provided by an NCGC Sponsor
  • NCGC National Championship
  • All National NCGC participants LQ Putting
    qualifiers get free entry to Vegas 25,000 Putt
  • Hit 3 out of 3 from 8 feet to qualify for the
    main prize putt
  • One NCGC qualifier gets to putt for 25,000 (60)
