Physical Features

• The poison dart frog is cold blooded because in
  the winter they freeze and thaw out in the
  spring.
• The frog is a maximum of 0.9 inches long.
• They come in a variety of over 50 bright colors
  like yellow, blue, orange and green.
• It has poison on its skin so that any animal that
  touches it will most likely die.

Diet

• The poison dart frog is a carnivore because they
  mostly eat crickets and other dart frogs, un
  hatched poison dart frog eggs, fruit flies and
  termites.
• They hop up to their prey and if it is small
  enough they will swallow it whole, or if it is
  too big it will rub its body against its prey to
  poison it and then eat it little by little.
