History
  • In our research work we have turned to
    cooperating archaeologists, historians and other
    specialists.

24
Hypotheses
  • Ancient sanctuaries and sacrificial places to
    pagan gods
  • Safehold of Slavic peasants in case of the
settlement attacked by an enemy used probably by
    northwestern Slaves. (Prof. Herrmann).
  • First support points built in the period of
German by knights who did not manage to build
solid castles yet. (Karel Alberti, Anton Gnirls).
  • Medieval support points and residential towers of
    lower aristocracy. (Jaroslav Fiala).
  • Medieval fortresses built along trade routes for
    their protection. (Bohumil Broukal, Zdenek
    Buchtele)
  • Places for breeding of bees and honey depots, as
protection against bears - from Slavic or perhaps
    older period. (dr. Kroupa)
  • Smithery and pottery workshops outside
residential areas to prevent spreading of fire.
    (Current German sources)

25
Ring walls - part of an old Slavic settlement
dedicated for breeding of bees (dr. Kroupa,
KPUFO)
  • Protection against bears to prevent their access
    to honey

26
Project of preservation
  • We suggest preservation of the monuments.
  • The suggestion includes popularization by
creation of educational paths, paths for bikers,
    marking of localities, etc.
  • It depends on acquiring of funds for Czech-German
projects of cooperation across the borders.

27
Utilisation for tourism of spa guests
  • All localities are close to the spa cities.
  • Convenient walk through nice forests to relax on
    fresh air.
  • Possibility of interconnection of some localities
    by paths for bikers.

28
Psychotronics and UFO Club
  • We are NNO - non-state, non-profit organisation
  • Member of East European Association of Researches
    of Anomalous Phenomena

29
Experience with protection of other
archaeological localities
  • Negotiations with owners of the lands, state
    administration, archaeologists and NNO for
preservation of historical monuments have already
been held at our suggestion on the site or a
petition for their registration has been put at
    our suggestion
  • Stone rows in Kounov
  • Stone sacrificial circle (Cehnice)
  • Objects type "henge" (Horní Metelsko)
