  • The Office of the Director provides business
    leadership and entrepreneurial direction for
    moving the FSC toward its vision as a financial
    solutions center and the provider of choice for
    financial services in the Federal government.

  • The primary functions of Financial Accounting
    Service (FAS) include reconciling and reporting
    Financial Reports for VA, oversight of the Credit
    Card System, processing PCS travel payments for
    VA, and providing fiscal support for five field
    stations.

Financial Operations Service
  • The primary functions of Financial Operations
    Service (FOS) are process commercial vendor
    payments for goods and services provided to VA,
    maintain centralized vendor file, provide
    customer support help desk and process medical
    claims for Immigration and Customs Enforcement
    (ICE).

Financial Support Service
  • The primary function of the Financial Support
    Service (FSS) is to guide and monitor FSCs
    progress towards achieving its short and long
    term goals through internal auditing, cost
    accounting, audit recovery, disaster
    preparedness, and training. FSS also processes,
    and reports the payroll for all VA and provides
    Local Payroll services to several local stations
    and VA Central Office.

  • The primary functions of Financial Consulting
    Service (FCS) include providing support services
    to VA for developing and implementing a new
    financial management systems.

eTravel Project Office
  • This Office provides support to the VA-wide
    eTravel initiative by completing the necessary
    tasks for a successful implementation of the
    system. Some of the tasks include facilitating
    the data conversion effort, assisting with user
    training VA-wide, providing global system
    administration functions, and providing
    assistance with VA policy questions related to
    eTravel.

    Technology (OIT) is to develop and maintain an
    information technology strategy for the FSC to
