• Peru is located in South America.
• It is on the west central side of South America.
• The countries that border Peru are Ecuador,
  Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile.
• The ocean that is on the coast of Peru is the
  South Pacific Ocean.

• Lima
• This city is not only the largest city in Peru,
  but it is its capital.
• Lima was founded by a Spanish conquistador
  (spanish soldier), Franciso Pizzaro.
• Machu Picchu
• Often referred to as The Lost City of the Incas
• It is a pre-Columbian Inca city
• Cuzco
• This city is located in the southeastern part of
  Peru
• Many people believe that the city was planned to
  be shaped like a puma (many cultures admire the
  grace and power of the puma)
