  • Relevant to content
  • Interesting
  • Stimulates the readers interest
  • Contains key words
  • So readers can find in libraries or on internet

  • Title and subtitle
  • Question title

  • The individual(s) responsible for writing this
    document
  • Not too many names
  • Not a football or cricket team!
  • Dont include the bosss name
  • Unless he/she has significant contribution
  • Be generous
  • Include names of people if document is based
    heavily on their work
  • Ask them first

  • First author person with most input
  • Otherwise, alphabetical order by surname
  • Give affiliations
  • Job title, organization
  • With authors names
  • Or in footnote or endnote

  • Other people or organizations who gave
    significant input
  • But not enough to qualify as an author
  • In a book, can be longer
  • In an article, one or two names only (if any)
  • Make sure you include everyone who should be
    there
