  • Provided 600,000 in immediate emergency response
    grants
  • Awarded 5 million to send volunteer mental
    health and substance abuse professionals to
    Louisiana 
  • Announced a National Crisis Lifeline
    1-800-273-TALK
  • Provided ongoing technical assistance and support
  • Begun to assess how to rebuild the mental health
    system in affected areas in the right way

illnesses can be prevented or cured, a future
when mental illnesses are detected early, and a
future when everyone with a mental illness at any
stage of life has access to effective treatment
and supportsessentials for living, working,

    mission statement
  • 93 have initiatives for individualized,
    person-centered treatment plans

    Plan

    information campaigns
  • Every reporting State agency is implementing at
    least one adult evidence-based practice
  • 94 are measuring client-outcome measures
