DRESS REQUIREMENTS

• West Valley Uniform or West Sports Spirit Pack
  (full credit)
• Shorts-athletic style-black, grey or maroon NO
  BUTTONS OR ZIPPERS ON SHORTS
• Shirts-t-shirts-black, grey, maroon, or white.
• NO HALTER TOPS, TANK TOPS OR BLOUSES
• Shoes-athletic shoes-NO SLIP ONS, WORK BOOTS,
  DRESS SHOES, HOUSE SHOES OR FLIP FLOPS.

LOCKER ROOM PROCEDURES

• Each student will be assigned a locker.
• Student must have a West Valley lock.
• Teachers will have a master list of lockers
  assigned and combinations. Each West Valley lock
  has a serial number to match to student and
  combination.
• Use of box lockers to store P.E. clothes. Long
  lockers are to be used during class only to store
  back packs and street clothes. Students will
  transfer their locks at this time to the long
  lockers.
• LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES! Be responsible and take
  care of your belongings. If you feel your
  valuables are not safe you make check them into
  the laundry room with a valid school I.D. card.
• WEST VALLEY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR
  STOLEN ITEMS. LEAVE YOUR VALUABLES AT HOME!

MEDICAL NOTES AND EXCUSES

• Excuses, medical or otherwise will be permitted
  for two days if accompanied by a parent note
  along with a telephone number and/or email
  address if confirmation is needed.
• After two days a doctors note is required. The
  doctors not should indicate diagnosis and length
  of time to be excused.
• Students excused from participation will still be
  required to dress out unless physically unable to
  do so.
• Students unable to participate will be required
  to do written work. (sports packets)

ELECTRONICS

• NO CELL PHONES, IPODS, PSPS ETC.
• SCHOOL POLICY FOR ELECTRONICS WILL BE ENFORCED

DISCIPLINE

• STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A
  SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE MANNER AT ALL TIMES!
• ALL DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS WILL FOLLOW THE SCHOOL
  DISCIPLINE POLICY

GRADING POLICY

• Each week is based on a total number of points
  per day. Mile day is worth 10 points. Each day
  there after is worth a 5 points per day. A total
  of 30 points per week.
• Non-suits-5
• Absences number of points per day missed, for
  example -10 on mile day
• Non-participation -5 OR -10 on a mile day

MILE TIMES

• 500-1200 MINUTES 10 POINTS
• 1201-1300 MINUTES -1 POINTS
• 1301-1400 MINUTES -2 POINTS
• 1401-1500 MINUTES -3 POINTS
• 1501-1600 MINUTES -4 POINTS
• 16 -5 POINTS
• Points will continue to be deducted up to 20 min
• Any student that does not complete all laps will
  receive a np (non participation)

ATTENDANCE

• All students must be within the black gate at the
  tardy bell.
• Attendance will be taken 10 minutes after the
  bell.
• All students will sit on assigned number until
  completion of attendance.
• Any student not seated on their number at the
  time of attendance will be marked absent.
