Stratus Clouds
  • They cover the entire sky
  • They resemble fog that doesnt touch the ground.
  • They only drizzle but no heavy rainfall come from
    these clouds.

Cirrus Clouds
  • These clouds are the highest off the ground.
  • They usually mean fair weather, no rain comes
    from these clouds.
  • They look white and feathery.

Cumulus Clouds
  • Usually mean fair weather, unless the grow tall,
    then storms and heavy rain will come.
  • They are low too the ground.
  • They are puffy.

High-Level Clouds
  • High-level clouds form 20,000 ft. off the ground.
  • They are made up of ice crystals.
  • They are thin and white, unless sunsets shine
    through them, then they turn into an array of
    color.

Mid-level Clouds
  • They are between 6,500 and 20,000 feet in the
    air.
  • Made up of water droplets.
  • Can be composed of ice crystals if they are high
    up enough.

Low-Level clouds
  • They are 6,500 feet or below.
  • They are made up of water droplets.
  • But when it is cold enough, they could be made up
    of ice particles and snow.
