CEMR Policy Group on Information Society and
e-Government

• Objectives
• To make policy inputs to the Commission and other
  EU institutions on issues relating to Information
  Society and E-Government that are of significant
  interest to local and regional government, by
  responding to Commission initiatives, and by
  promoting own initiatives to the Commission

• To develop a positive dialogue and partnership
  with the Commission on these issues
• To develop policy positions, contributions and
  initiatives for consideration by CEMRs policy
  forums and governing bodies, and to propose
  possible lines of activity to ELANET
