Why Do You Believe The Bible?

• When someone expresses belief in the Bible
• Someone will ask, Why do you believe an ancient
  book, of ancient history, about some good people
  who may have lived long ago?
• Our question this week is, Do you believe in the
  Bible, or Do you believe the Bible?

What You Believe Will Determine Your Actions?

• If you dont believe then you will not act.
• If you do believe then you will be compelled to
  act.
• Now is the time to ask ourselves, Do I believe as
  the inspired Word of God? If so, Why?

  knows that contradicts anything the Bible says?

• Can uninspired men interpret unfulfilled

• What about versions of translations?
• NASB, KJV, NKJV, NEB, RV, NIV, Amplified, The
  Book, Rainbow Blessings versions for men, women,
  and children, or any of hundreds more.

Versions Vs True Word

• This issue involves one point only!
• When we have the word Jesus used, or the word
  that his apostles used, we get the word the Holy
  Spirit used, the Inspired Word.
• If a version of translation is questioned, the
  question must be determined on the basis of
  whether the version of translation is accurate or
  not, or has a denominational doctrine slant?

• Galatians 1 10 - 11 or do I now persuade men,
  or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet
  pleased men, I should not be the servant of
  Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the
  gospel which was preached of me is not after
  man.
