• Generally good that people tried COCOMO as a high
  level estimating technique. However, some
  noticeable shortcomings are
• How did you estimate LOC ? Try some variations in
  loc s.
• Seemed to have some confusion on Effort vs Time
• Time did not specify how many people are
  applied throughout the project. real project
  never need the same number of people from
  beginning to end.
• For your project time estimate try dividing
  effort in person-months by number of persons and
  get of months. That gives a feel of schedule
  possibility.
• 1 person-month means a person working normal
  hours (6 hours a day from Monday through
  Friday). So if you are using student
  person-month, you must define and recalibrate.
• People tried to force a detailed schedule into a
  fixed end-date. Do not do that in a Quick plan
  --- show the known milestone dates. All others
  are desirable dates which, if you want to put
  in, must be explained.
