PROPOSAL
Dear Samuel Adams, Thank you for listening to
our message. We are very Uncomfortable with the
British taxes. All of us know there Must be tax,
but many of the British keep most of it for
There is no need to pay more than we
themselves!
Need to! The British will take away the food we
grow, So we have to pay the taxes to live. Many
think war is Necessary, but Randall, a merchant,
Griffin, a wealthy Citizen, and Amanda, a woman
have agreed on a Different idea.

more of proposal
Griffin would pay the money to ship Amanda to
Britain. Randall would give Amanda a vile of
poison. Amanda would work at a restaurant.
British soldiers would have a meal with a drink
.Amanda would put poison in the drink, and then
give the drink to the soldiers. The soldiers
would be poisoned and maybe die. When the king
finds out we want him to think The Americans
killed some of my soldiers very cleverly.I think
I should reward them by lowering taxes.
We hope we have
helped,
Randall, Griffin, and Amanda

privilidges
  • Griffin would stay as wealthy as ever, having more
money than before he had to pay higher taxes
  • Randall would have more money than before because
the British werent always taking it for
    themselves.
  • Amanda would be more thought of, because she
    helped lower taxes.

5

wealthy citizen
  • I inherited money and home from my parents.
  • I had the money to pay taxes but I still did not
    agree with them.
  • I had rights which not many people had.

6

Woman
  • Women were only known for housework.
  • The Penelope Baker Declaration banned British
    imports.
  • Women held protests in the streets about what
they wanted more than anything- mens rights.
  • We didnt have mens rights., but we finally got
    them in the 1960s.

7

Merchant
  • The merchants were forced to sell the British tea
    and other British goods.
  • These goods were sold to people who did not even
    want them.
  • And when the stamp act happened, the merchants
could not even send letters due to the taxes from
    the stamps.
