Cadences

• Chord progressions at the end of phrases, these
  are the types
• Perfect Cadence A V chord in root position
  going to a I chord in root position.
• Authentic Cadence A V chord going to a root
  position I chord.
• Imperfect Cadence A chord (possibly in
  inversion) (V) ending in an inverted I chord.
• Plagal Cadence IV goes to I chord. (Amen)
• Half Cadence Ends on a V chord.
• Deceptive Cadence A chord that seems to be
  heading towards the V-I, but instead ends on
  another chord (ie. V-vi)
