level, Book 2 is fifth grade reading level, so
on) - Determined by Fry Readability
- 25 two part lessons (50 tests in total)
- Passages are 400 words in length

- Test A Focus on Silent Fluency Rate
- Take 20 seconds to preview (lesson on previewing
is in text on pages 2-3). - Read passage and note on the answer sheet the
time it took to read (do not include the time to
read or do the questions). - Use an internet timer program such as
http//ideas.gstboces.org/program/timer/ . - Answer the 10 questions
- 5 - Recalling Facts
- 5 - Understanding the Passage
- Write your answers on the answer sheet.
- Check answers, review incorrect answers, record
