The PECS Encounter Note
  • What is the PECS Encounter Note?
  • A one- to two-page document that reflects
    individual patient data
  • Includes all of a patients recent or pertinent
    information
  • Provides run charts that can be provided to the
    patient
  • The Encounter Note allows the provider to
  • Review information from the patients last visit
  • Update the encounter note with the days visit
    information
  • Update conditions, meds, labs, other diagnostic
    tests, vaccinations and immunizations, risk
    factors, other measures, referrals and education
