  Engines as the building blocks for OADMs and
  very high port count OXCs. Applications ranging
  from protection, restoration, and dynamic
  provisioning of the communications networks
• 2D (PASSPORT) and 3D (TRANSPORT) architectures
• Millisecond switching time
• Single crystal silicon leads to low and uniform
  insertion loss
